January 9th, 2012 - The transmission from Nakusp to Trout Lake, and repeater points in-between, was at full throttle paving the way for customers to sign up for service. 

February 8th - Careful and constant monitoring of the system is proving that all equipment is running smoothly and without capacity issues.

April/May - Equipment for the Galena Bay and Beaton subscribers will be arriving within the next 6 weeks.  When access to the installation sites is attainable, work will begin to bring these customers online.

May 23rd - May 27th - Beaton repeater station is setup and equipment installed.

June 9th - Galena Bay site comes online.

July 1st - Beaton site comes online.

May thru August - Many seasonal subscribers sign up for Internet service.  Nearly 65 clients have been connected.

September thru October - All repeater sites are inspected in preparation for the winter.  Numerous maintenance trips to the outlying sites were completed.

October thru December - Unforeseen, and many unrelated, power outages affecting the Internet service were addressed.

November - Telus begins installation of fibre optic cable for the high-speed Internet connection to Trout Lake.  The TLBCIS hub prep work for the Telus connection is completed.

December 20th - Telus hook-up to Trout Lake is completed.

December 23rd - TLBCIS connection to Telus fibre optic is completed.  Nakusp site is taken out of commission.
